Subhanallah Subhanallah Subhanallaah

Tasbih is an act of devotion, a way to calm our mind? In here, this is called "worry beads." Unfortunately, some Muslims, we may call them Islamic Protestants, do not recommend this. But Sunnis and Sufis do.

There is a hadith narrated Abu Huraira: Some poor people came to the Prophet and said, "The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent enjoyment and they pray like us and fast as we do. They have more money by which they perform the Hajj, and 'Umra; fight and struggle in Allah's Cause and give in charity." The Prophet said, "Shall I not tell you a thing upon which if you acted you would catch up with those who have surpassed you? Nobody would overtake you and you would be better than the people amongst whom you live except those who would do the same. Say "Sub-han-al-lah", "Alhamdu-lillah" and "Allahu Akbar" thirty three times each after every (compulsory) prayer." We differed and some of us said that we should say, "Subhan-al-lah" thirty three times and "Alhamdu lillah" thirty three times and "Allahu Akbar" thirty four times. I went to the Prophet who said, "Say, "Subhan-al-lah" and "Alhamdu lillah" and "Allahu Akbar" all together for thirty three times."

A rosary is not for counting our praises. Most people just finish the count.I have seen people playing fingers after salath. Hurry finish of the counts. Really it is a help to take our praises, our thanks to our heart. when we turn each bead we come to the present moment, we know that we are praising. We do this with the connection of breath.

Take a normal breath and breath out chanting Subhanallah...Again take a normal breath and breath out chanting Subhhanallah...Repeat this 33 times ( thiis 33 is just for convenience. You can do it for 100 or any number of times)

Then take normal breath out and breath in with and chant Alhamdulillah. Take a normal breath out, take a breath in with a chant Alhamdulillha.... Do this for 33 times.

You can do this with the 99 names of Allah starting with Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, Ya Malik, Ya Khuddoos using our breath.

Please do it for a month and see the diffeence.

Every chant has this beneficial effect.

Beads are used for an awareness. Any Praises of Allah, any Thanks, or any prayers without the participation of our heart is a waste.Like a seed sown on a rock. Do the prayers with heart.Only with heart.A Tasbeeh, or a Japa is just a way.A Tasbeeh is not an idol.
